Another week!

April 22, Today marks the third week for Roger in Arizona. He is scheduled for his check ride tomorrow. After that, he may officially have a job! Praise the Lord for these steps in the right direction! 

As for the Wisconsin home front, the mama is tired and weary, the kids are struggling, and life moves on. All things considered, we are doing well. It was a busy week last week with school, cleaning, doing odd jobs around the house, our spring campaign at church, Wyatt's birthday party, a bike ride, and the day to day activities. 

Wyatt turned six last Monday, April 20, which was also the day we had a minor catastrophe at our house. Thankfully, my friend, Gretchen, made Wyatt a cake. He was convinced that he couldn't turn six unless he had cake! 

We planned a small birthday for Wyatt on Friday. He had several playmates and their families come over to our house. Some of Roger's family was able to come over as well. Wyatt had a great time, and I was thankful for our family and friends. 

On Saturday, we worked on jobs around the house. We hauled trash, moved a snowmobile, and went for a bike ride as a family. Well, I walked, Emma was in the wagon, but the boys did bike! :) There was a special couple at church that had their wedding on Saturday, and some of our friends from Canada were coming to town for the wedding. I SO badly wanted to attend, but since it was at 1, with five kids, during nap time, it seemed like a recipe for disaster!! So after Emma took a nap, we went on our walk/bike ride as a family, which was fun for the kids. It was probably a relief for them to do something fun with mom rather than work! :) 

Sunday was a tough day for me. It's always the day that I miss Roger the most, and it's when life seems to be the most overwhelming. I was able to briefly chat with our friends, Catherine and Ashley, from Canada, and that was a special treat for me. I had wanted to have lunch with them, but they had already been invited to someone else's house...kinda awkward to invite yourself along to those, eh?! :) 

The boys had asked me if their friend, Ben, could come over for the afternoon, and I agreed. I realized that my boys are growing up! They are at the age where they want to invite friends over, and it's another sign of how quickly time is passing!  Since the weather was beautiful, we ate lunch outside, and they played in the yard most of the afternoon. I did finish up painting the back porch, so it's another thing off my list! Yay!

My dad came over a bit later in the afternoon to return the bikes, and to put up the birdhouses that the boys had made. He offered to take the boys down to the park since they'd been asking to go all afternoon. I decided to put Emma in the stroller and walk down to the park. The boys were having a great time driving their bikes into the pond! I caught some of their antics on video for Roger. :) 

After church, our friends, the Schilders, invited us to have a snack with them at Taco Bell. The boys were thrilled because of course, that meant more time with their friends! :) It was nice to not have to feed everyone when we arrived home, since everyone was very tired. That's another reason I miss Roger...he carries in all the kids that fall asleep! It's a much harder job for me to carry in sleeping little boys! :)

April 27, Monday, 

It's Monday again! We have a full week with school, a field trip day, two kids with dentist appointments, a doctors appointment for me, the spring Campaign at church, Wednesday night Kings Kids, and a meal I'm working on cooking for 200 people for the Friday night teen outing at our church! Oh, and we have an open house on Sunday, so this house will BE SPOTLESS!! :) 

Today was a rough day for Wyatt. He doesn't function well on Mondays, and I told him that he would need to take a nap today. He insisted that he wasn't tired, yet he took a four hour nap! :) It was nice to have a day where we didn't have to go anywhere or be anywhere, and we spent the afternoon and evening at home. I planted grass, fixed my dining room chairs, and gathered up a few more items for my yard sale endeavor. 

Tuesday, April 28

Field trip today! I think I'm more excited than the kids today! We went out to Amish Country and visited several greenhouses. The boys have been studying plants in science class, so they were glad to pick out a few of their own to plant. We also took along a picnic lunch and played at the park for a while. It was a busy and tiring day with a full evening at our spring campaign for church. I've been helping out with the Bible club, and it's been exciting to have new kids and visitors come every week. After tonight, we only have one more week! I'm thankful for the opportunity to serve, I'm thankful that the kids have been able to participate, I'm thankful that our church has events like these, and I'm thankful that it's only six weeks and not sixteen weeks!! :)

Wednesday, April 29, 

Another busy day today! The two little boys had dentist appointments, and then it was home for lunchtime and a quick rest. My friend, Gretchen, watched my kiddos so that I could finish up the shopping for a meal for the teen event at our church this weekend. I think I'll be ready to go on Friday. 

Thursday, April 30

I had a physical this morning, and then I finished up the schoolwork with Wyatt that he missed from the dentist appointment on Wednesday. I spent a good part of the day getting ready for the teen event on Friday. I browned almost twenty pounds of meat in preparation for tomorrow. My friend, Jenna, came over in the evening with pizza and great company! We talked for a couple of hours, but I wish it had been much longer!! 

Friday, May 1

I spent most of the day in a moving position! From school I went home to gather up all the items that I needed to bring to church to make the meal. I was at the church about 1:30, and I quickly realized that I was going to have plenty of time to get ready for the meal at seven-fifteen. I tend to be over prepared,and with the meat already browned, we were doing great with our time. I was told to be prepared to feed about 204 teens and about fifty adults. It was a fun, fabulous afternoon, with some great friends! I was able to work with one of my best friends, Autumn, and two awesome ladies from our church, Becky and Rachel! What a blessing to serve the Lord together! I finished tallying up my receipts and we fed over 220 people on with $230.23!! We served a meal of a meat pasta dish, garlic buns, salad, dessert and soda or water. We ended up with some garlic bread, about three or four pounds of pasta, and some salads leftover, which means I did fairly good on the math part of figuring out how much we needed. :) My parents graciously kept the boys and Emma overnight which was a huge blessing since I didn't get home until after eleven. I didn't sleep well even though I was tired because of something that was heavy on my mind and heart. It's at those moments that I realize how terribly, aweful I miss my husband!! I wanted, no needed, someone to talk to, and I just ached for Roger. 

I was up at around seven on Saturday morning since I didn't sleep well. But since I also didn't have any kids, I went for a run. It was a beautiful day for running and talking to Jesus, and we had a great time together! :) Saturday was full with giving the porch a second coat of paint, planting bushes, grouting the tile, and everything else. I am pretty impressed that I figured out how to grout the tile using my kitchen spatula and a table knife! :) Hopefully,  it will dry correctly! :) We have an open house tomorrow, so the house will be spotless. I will be having the boys sleep on the living room floor tonight since their room is spotless!! :) 

My dad brought over his lawnmower and cut the grass for me. He helped me get the car started also. We are trying to sell our station wagon since we don't need three vehicles in Arizona. However, since I have just parked it for several weeks, and no one has been driving it; the car decided not to start. I'm praying very specifically that we can sell it this week. My friend, Gretchen, brought over the chairs that her husband painted for me, and my dining room is complete. The chairs turned out beautifully, and I'm thankful for all the work that Sean put into making them fabulous! 

Update from Arizona: 

Roger had his first official day of work Thursday, April 30! Woo hoo!! We are very excited that he can start earning towards his first paycheck. Because of the way the company pays out the money, Roger first paycheck will be minimal to say the least- but it's more than we had a month ago! :) 

Roger is enjoying this job, and I can tell just by listening to him that he is thrilled to be flying for a job. I praise the Lord for all that He has done! I just can't wait to be in Arizona as a family!!

Arizona News and Updates

I think I mentioned last time that Roger's trailer mate left the job, and Roger currently has the place to himself. This is actually a big praise as it gives Roger the opportunity to talk freely with us, and he has a place to unwind at the end of the day. 

He flew the plane for the first time yesterday, April 16, and he says in a few more hours he thinks he'll be comfortable in it. Most of the training is still wading through the logistical, legal stuff, so it's pretty dry. 

On a positive note, Roger says that the town is a lot prettier than it looks on google earth! :) This is a good thing! The town is laid out with lots of walking and biking trails, which will be awesome for myself and the children. Since Roger arrived in Arizona ten days ago, he's driven twenty five miles in his car. The weather there has been cooler than here in Wisconsin, but somehow I know that will change! :) 

Roger has been gone for two weeks, and it seems so much longer! I think it's because we are trying to sell the house, pack up, finish school, and keep our sanity! :) The truth is that God always gives me more than I can handle, and every day presents challenges that are too much for me. Yet God's grace sustains me, His presence surrounds me, and His love strengthens me for the challenges I face. I'm seeing God at work in a mighty way...I just sometimes wish He'd work a little faster! (Because I'm impatient!) 

There really hasn't been any action on our house this week. We had four couples come to the open house last weekend, but nothing new this week. The couple that we accepted the offer from has now listed their property and are trying to sell it. I think maybe that's where God is going to once again show Himself stong...I hope!! I drove past the property that they are trying to sell, and said, "Oh my!". God can certainly do whatever he wants to do, and I know that he can get a buyer for that property because that seems like a really big miracle! So, I have to remind myself that this is not a worry that needs to consume me, as God has it all under control. If it's time to leave for Arizona, and we still have a house to sell, God knows all about that too. In a book I'm reading "The Red Sea Rules", the author gives a statement about worry..."Someone defined worry as a small trickle of fear that meanders through the mind, cutting a channel into which all other thoughts flow." That statement stopped me, and I reread it several times...wow! I don't want my worries to consume me, and I want to be dependent upon God! 

We have two and 1/2 weeks of school left, and I cannot wait to be done!! The kids are chomping at the bit too, so school has been a little rough. We just keep pressing on with many thanks for all of my moms help! 

Update from Roger: He gained another trailer mate on Thursday, and the man left on Friday! I asked Roger if he was scaring them off! :) I'm thankful that God has allowed Roger to have the trailer mostly to himself though as it makes it easier for all of us. Since Roger doesn't get paid for training, our finances need to last until our first payday. I think if we are careful and watch where each penny disappears to, we will make it. I've been doing plasma twice a week so that's an extra $50.00 a week, and God has miraculously provided at every spot we've needed provision...God is so, so good!! 

It was a busy week this last week for me as we had dinner at our friends house on Monday. Phil and Autumn invited us over for dinner, and the kids were delighted to play with friends. I needed to get a few things at Target, and Autumn offered to watch the kids so that I could go all my myself. As it turned out, Chandler desperately needed to spend some one on one time with me. I ended up taking him with me even though I was looking forward to some one on one time with me!! We did have a good time together, and I listened to his heart. He's very sensitive to a lot of things, and I needed him to make me awars of some things that he is struggling with in his life. 

On Tuesday, my friend, Gretchen, and I took our kids along with us to a trip to Sam's Club. We had nine children all under the age of nine...and it was an adventure! Since we are both used to taking our kids lots of places with us, it was fine. The kids did great, and they were delighted to each get and Icee at the store. We didn't even lose any of them!! After that adventure, we went to church to participate in the Spring outreach campaign. I've been helping out in the Bible club every week, and I've been taking my kids with me. However, Chandler wanted to help make Bibles in the printshop. Gretchen agreed to keep an eye on him, and he had a great time doing that. The other boys had a great time coming along to the Bible Club and participating in that. It's been a joy and a privilege to help out each week, but it does make for some tired children!

Wednesday was a day filled with appointments, church, and plasma for me. Chandler had a dentist appointment in the morning, then back for school, home for nap and lunch, doctors appointments for Wyatt and Chandler, off to Oshkosh for errands, plasma, supper, and church...craziness! 

Thursday was a rough day for me. There was a ladies get together in the evening at church. They were going to play volleyball which I really enjoy. However, I also knew that I didn't have anyone to watch the kids, and I should just stay home. It was a tough decision for me, since I didn't want to be responsible...I wanted to go play! However, I know that my kids needed to stay home and that was the right decision. My dad took the boys fishing for a bit in the afternoon, so they came back muddy, sloppy, and tired!  They only caught three little ones, but they all want to go again! 

Friday was a school and field trip day. We took a phonics test in the morning, and then we headed to the park to meet up with some friends. We had a good visit at the park with several other moms and their kids and lots of food! I'm thankful for good friends and fellowship. After the park, we headed to the EAA museum with the LOngsine family. The boys really enjoyed the museum and spending time with their friends. I think Emma would have preferred a nap at home, but we all had a great time.

Saturday was a day spent at home. We moved gravel around to fill in some spots in the driveway, hauled off the trash, and cleaned up the yard. My dad helped me a lot!! He took the boys fishing in the afternoon and I headed into Oshkosh with Emma. Our church was hosting a Baptists for Life Rally, and I worked in the nursery to give other families the opportunity to attend. I hear that it was well attended and the Dr. David Gibbs, Jr. did a great job on the message. Thankfully, I'll be able to listen to it via our church website. After the rally, I went to pick up the boys at my parents house. They hadn't caught any fish, but they can't wait to go again! We had an enjoyable cookout together as a family. 

Sunday was filled with church activities. I am working on a puppet script with a few friends, so we did that during the Childrens church. After Sunday night church, we had college age snack night. It's always a lot of fun for me to do, but a lot more challenging with five small kids and school the next day...thankfully, school is almost over!! 

Monday, April 20

Today is my precious Wyatt's birthday! We are so blessed to have him in our lives. He is always the one who wants to fix things, tear apart stuff, and he is my most agressive boy! I'm blessed to be his mama, and I'm thankful for each day with him. It's hard to believe that he turns six today. 

Today was also a day filled with challenges that seemed insurmountable, overwhelming, and daunting challenges. It was a day that I was once again reminded of what a great father I have. When I called my dad to explain my challenge, he immediately came to help me! With Roger gone, my dad has helped out in so many ways. I'm also thankful for my friend, Gretchen, who came and picked up my five children so that I could deal with what I needed to do. Did I write about it? Yes! But it's a post for another day...somewhere down the road! 

Tuesday, April 21

Praise the Lord - it's a new day! We did chores, school, and endured a rather rainy, miserable day. We also spent some time running errands, picking out a cake for Wyatt's birthday party on Friday, and helping out in the spring campaign for church. I did a puppet show again this week with help from the pastor's daughter, Harmony. My friend, Ginny, also helped me...even though she didn't want too! :) I did not really want to go this week as the weather is crummy, I'm tired, and I wanted to go home. But still God blessed our efforts anyways! We had twenty visitors attend the Bible club, and it's exciting to see new faces in the crowd every week...God is so good! 

Thank you all for your prayers! We CANNOT wait to be together again as a family. As much as I will dearly miss my friends here, I need my husband. My kids need their daddy, and we are counting down the days!!

Amazing Blessings and Prayers Needed!

As a child of God, I'm working on my life being a reflection of Christ. God brings us through the valleys of life so that we can see Him more clearly. Sometimes these valleys are very huge like the loss of a loved one, a transition for the family, a health issue, etc., but sometimes the valley is just more like a swamp that we can't see clearly where we are and where we are going. It's in these moments that our lives are defined by our relationships with Christ. Are we going to "walk by faith" when we can't see the trail, or are we going to stay in the swamp because "it's where I'm at"? Over the last year I've had my share of moments in the swamp, but I'm thankful for all those who continually prayed for me and encouraged me to keep my eyes on Christ! 

When I can't see the trail ahead and the future seems unclear, I know that I can trust His Word. God's Word gives me the promise that I can put one foot in front of the other! 

Proverbs 3:5 & 6

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Over the last few weeks, we've been on an adventure in the valley (or swamp!). We've been trusting the Lord to show us His perfect plan. It became clear that God was going to give Roger a job somewhere else, and that we needed to get our house ready to sell. 

After a few crazy days and weeks of hard work, the house went on the market on Tuesday. While the realtor was here on Monday, and forty five minutes after the sign was in the yard, someone stopped by to see the property! The boys were excited because they were able to go to Mcdonalds for lunch while the realtor showed the property. :) The man said he was very interested, but I've come to realize that "interested" and "making an offer" are not the same thing! :) 

However, our house listing went online on Tuesday, and on Wednesday we had our first house showing! So once more I ran around like a chicken without a head getting the house ready for a showing. When Roger and I bought our house, we had looked at 26 other homes. I knew what I would look for if I was buying a house, so I worked on those areas. No clutter and no junk just clean and tidy! (However, don't look in closets or under beds!!) 

We received our first offer at our first house showing!!! I am amazed at all that God can do...just because HE CAN!! It was a full price offer...how awesome it that?! I am excited and thrilled, but the offer did have one contingency on it- and it's a big one! They have a house that they need to sell first. So, we did accept their offer...however, we also are still going ahead with selling the house. Confused yet? I certainly was when our realtor was explaining it! :) 

We can still have an open house on Sunday; and if we have someone make a better than full price offer, we have a couple of options. The first couple to make an offer will have 72 hours to either come up with the money quicker or back out of the house. So...since God can do whatever He wants to do, I might as well pray big! It would be awesome to see God give us multiple offers, and perhaps an offer that isn't contingent on someone selling their house? 

All that to say....please don't stop praying now! I've come to realIze that nothing is for sure until the papers are signed and the check is in hand! Please pray that God will either sell the home of the people that made the offer, or that God would make it clear that He has something else in mind. I know that my faith has been made stronger, my relationship with God deeper, and my belief in the power of prayer has grown in the last few days. We will continue to pray believing that God can because HE'S the great "I AM"!

UPDATE: April 12

We did have an open house today. My dad and I spent the entire day yesterday working on the house. I painted, cleaned, landscaped, and repeated that process several times over! My dad fixed some broken tile, put up baseboard, trimmed a window, and filled in potholes in our driveway. To say I'm exhausted would be an understatement! I'm tired, emotionally unstable, weary, and sick of work! :) 

However, I'm thankful for my dad for helping me. I'm thankful for a husband who encourages me and prays continually for me. I'm thankful for friends like Gretchen and Sean Schilder, who feed me and my children, watch for ways to help me, encourage me, and bring me coffee!!! :) 

And of course, you are wondering what was the result of the open house? Well, God decided that He wasn't going to have anything happen today. Four couples walked through the house, but we didn't receive any offers. That was disappointing for me simply because I think I wanted someone to take notice and appreciate all my hard work! :) So, for now I'm just going to continue to pray that God allows me to see Him show Himself stong. I'm going to be faithful, I'm going to love my husband and my kids, and I'm going to continue to pray for Gods clear direction...one day at a time! 

Those were the updates from Wisconsin...now for other news: 

Arizona: Roger arrived safely on Tuesday. This week has been so full and crazy busy that it seems like much longer ago than that! He started the training on Wednesday, and he is going through all the boring, logistical stuff! He was sharing a trailer with another pilot, but the other pilot decided that this wasn't the job for him. He left on Friday, so Roger currently has the trailer to himself, and he's fine with that! :) 

One huge praise from Roger is the fact that he has common ground with the Assistant chief pilot at the job. This man and his family attend the Baptist church there in Page! How wonderful for God to allow Roger to have some fellowship with another believer on the job?! God is so good! 

We are looking forward to being back together again as a family, so please pray for us as we continue to work towards that. 

I have much, much more I could write about;  but I fear that as tired as I am, I might come across as whinny and confusing. That being said, I'm off to bed!

An Addendum to my Previous Post! Please Read!

After re-reading our blog post last night, I realized that I had left out many important details. I wanted to  post about Roger leaving for Arizona before I announced that he's already there! :) However, I also realize that I left a few holes that needed filling in. Unless you're one of the very few people that have been constantly updated as we've gone along this journey, it probably appears that we are moving in haste without very much direction! :) 

Isaiah 39:28

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 

I love the promises that God gives in his Word! It's awesome to think that He never tires of hearing from me; He can handle all my emotions; His love is never ending, and the list goes on! 

Here are a few important details:

1) Roger left for his instrument training on February 28. He started his training on March 7 and began calling about various job postings shortly thereafter. Roger first contacted the man in Arizona around March 12, and the man was very interested in Roger. He thought that Roger could do a good job for the company because of Rogers previous experiences in working with people during his years of training and running sled dogs in Canada. Roger also grew up around aviation, so flying is something that he is very comfortable and familiar with...and he's good at it! :) 

2) Roger called about several banner towing job on the east coast. One of the problems with these types of jobs is that the pay is unstable. You get paid for the hours you fly, but you never know how much the paycheck will be each month. Although the pay is low in Arizona, we do have assurance of exactly how much the paycheck will be from month to month. It's much easier to manage a budget when you know what amount of money you're working with each month! :)

3) Roger did call several banner tow places, and he submitted numerous resumes. Another of the problems with these types of jobs is you don't know exactly what banners you'll be towing. So, if you were asked to tow a banner for a bar club, it's a requirement.  Neither Roger nor I really felt comfortable with that as we want to keep ourselves above reproach. On the other hand, in Arizona, Roger will be flying for a sight seeing company. Roger gave numerous tours when he was working for the dog sled tours in Canada, so this is something he thinks he'll enjoy. 

4) So, why are we looking into an RV? 

       Although the pay is low in Arizona, it's about the same amount that Roger was making in Wisconsin. The difference is that it costs more to live in Arizona! :) But in the last few years, I've becoming fairly adapt a couponing, saving, and budgeting. This is kinda the same thing, it's just in a different state. We CANNOT afford to rent a property in Page, Arizona! It would take up about eighty percent of our income to rent and then in most places you often pay utilities. But we can stay in a campground with water, electric and dump facilities for about 25% of our income. Is it ideal? No. Is it my dream to live in an RV with five small chicken? No. Is it for forever? I pray not! Is it doable for seven months? Absolutely! Both Roger and I feel like we adapt fairly well to the situations around us, so we are actually kinda looking forward to this adventure. 

5) Why Arizona? 

         Because when you start out in aviation, you have to go wherever you can get experience. It's a lot like new truck drivers. They get their CDL, and they begin looking for a job. However, everyone wants them to have experience. They have to look for a job that will take a chance on them being a newbie and give them some experience. In aviation, it's all about how many hours you have in flying. The more flying hours you have, the more jobs are available to you. Roger has a fabulous start in his flying hours, due largely to the fact that God allowed us to have an airplane for a few years. He needs about 400 more hours to get to 1000 hours. At 1000 hours he will have a whole new world of jobs available to him. Roger has talked with many people in the aviation field, both in our church and in the secular realm. After much discussion with some wise leaders, they've encouraged Roger to take the job. And after much, much prayer, and a few (or lots) of tears, we are heading to Arizona. 

6) And what about the family? 

     Anyone who knows anything about Roger would say that one of the most important things in the world to him is his family. This past year has been an unusal one, a long one, a different one, a challenging one, and a year of transition and change! Roger started on this job training to provide a better future for our family. It's been a difficult road for him and us, but we both have seen God's hand at work in a mighty way. We have managed to survive almost a year on a very limited income, and we have minimal debt. (Praise the Lord!) We are working hard to keep the debt at bay, and repay our debts as quickly as possible. While this is important to us, our family is our priority. We need to be together as a family, and if it requires me to live in an RV for several months then I am going to do it and be happy about it! (Or at least do my very best!) I'm actually kinda looking forward to it being just our family for several months. It's going to be very difficult and challenging, but I can't wait to see how God's going to continue to show Himself strong. 

   I have made some very close and dear friends in our church, and it's going to be very hard for me to say good by. Some of these ladies have watched my children, cried with me, encouraged me, prayed with me and for me, loved me and my family, and they are extremely dear to my heart. I'm thankful that nothing is forever, and maybe God will make a way for a job to open up back in Wisconsin! :) 

7) And what about church? Well, we've decided to take a sabbatical from going to church, and we will be doing our own home church in Arizona...I'm kidding!!! We've looked at churches via the web, and we haven't made any concrete decisions on anything. Yes, I'm praying for a good church. Yes, I want us to find a church that will be a good fit for us. Yes, I think church is important for our family. Yes, I desire the fellowship of the believers. However, until we are in Arizona, it's a little challenging to know exactly what's available as far as a good church for us. Our current church does offer live streaming, so  that's a least an option. But since I'm praying, I might as well pray big! I'm praying for a great church, with an awesome Vacation Bible School this summer! :) I'm also praying that God will allow us to make a few friends out there. I'm praying for discernment and wisdom for us, and that Roger will be able to make most of the church services with us. It would be very challenging for me to go to a new church by myself with the kids. 

Hopefully, this post will help clear up a few misconceptions that we've just jumped off the diving board without looking to see if there was water in the pool! :) We love you all! 

Tomorrow is the big day- the house will be going on the market! Please pray that God's hand will be evident and clear in this process!

Coming Soon....Changes for our Family!

The last week has been a roller coaster ride for our family. Roger arrived home last Friday, and he's been busy applying for all kinds of flying jobs. He submitted several resumes to different companies, and we've done a lot of praying as a family. 

It's been wonderful to have Roger home, and he's been busy working on all kinds of projects. We've had many friends come over in the last week to help us paint, put up trim, clean, and everything else under the sun! Roger's mom was able to be in town for a few days, and she was a huge blessing. She matched all our mis-matched socks, helped with laundry, and other everyday life projects. Thanks, Mom! We are blessed! 

Roger called about several jobs earlier this week, and he had an offer from a man in Arizona. We really didn't want that job because the pay is very, very low. However, after much praying we decided that if no other job called Roger back and the guy in Arizona called again, we would accept it as the Lords leading. On Thursday, Roger received a call for a job....from the man in Arizona. :) Roger has accepted the job, and we are at peace that this is what God has for our family at this time. Roger will be leaving on Sunday afternoon for Arizona! He begins his training on Wednesday! 

So...the Robertson family will be moving to....Page, Arizona!!

Since our house stills needs someone to pack it up, the kids need schooling, and Roger needs to do some training for the job, I'll be staying behind with the kids. We will be heading out to Arizona at the end of May. Please, please be praying that our house will sell quickly! After looking at all our options for housing in Arizona, we've decided that the only way we can make this work is for us to live in a campground. This job in Arizona is temporary from April to November, and we don't know what's in store for us after this job. So, currently our option is to buy a travel trailer (provided the house sells) and live in a campground...fun, fun, fun!! :) 

There are many, many details to work out. We haven't even begun to touch the surface of all that we need to discuss, but we are sure that God will lead us every step of the way. We are confident that He knows exactly where we are, and where we need to be. We desperately need your prayers as we head into uncharted waters for our family. However, God is good and all the time, God is good. 

I have many more details to share, but it'll have to wait. We have a a vehicle to pack for Arizona, a budget to go over, dessert to make for tomorrow, kids to put in bed, and lots of planning to do...good night!
