God blessed
us with a gorgeous, lightly falling snow for most of the day! The temperature
was -10 degrees this morning, but it did warm up to zero. With the lightly
falling snow, it was the perfect day to play outside. We use our sledding road
hill almost every day, and today our neighbor came by with some little skis
that her children have outgrown. So now we have three boys anxious to try them
out! J
Roger’s been
busy cutting up the logs that we already have to get ready for the wood the men
will be cutting and hauling here on Saturday. He has quite the wood pile
growing, and it’s nice to know that we won’t be leaving the cabin without any
wood for anyone else who may be using the cabin.
Today was
our day to use the Manley Hot Springs but with the truck having limited brakes,
we had to walk. It was a beautiful day, so it was a nice day to walk. However,
there was some confusion and someone else was using the hot springs. L We walked up to the house, to talk
to Missy who heads up the scheduling of the hot springs. We worked it out to
come tomorrow instead, and it was a solution that was easily resolved. However,
it was a long walk back with four disappointed little boys. J But we’ll go tomorrow and be clean
again! J
A man from
church offered to help Roger fix the truck when the parts come in so that is an
answer to prayer and a blessing. We actually do not drive our vehicle very
much, but it’s very nice to have on days we need to haul water, drop trash off
at the dump, do laundry and take showers.
J
We hope all
is well with each of you. It would be nice to stay in contact with each and
every one of you, but we do pray for those whom the Lord brings to our minds.
We appreciate your continued prayers.
